RTV to extend viewership to East Africa
Rwanda’s national television will expand its coverage in to neighboring countries like Kenya, Uganda, Burundi and Tanzania by January.
This will start when Orinfor relocate to their new premises in December. The new house will be fully equipped with hi-tech machines to enable wide range coverage.
Willy Rukundo, the acting Managing Director of Orinfor said the extention will enable TVR to showcase great development programmes Rwanda has as a country.
Rwanda’s national television doesn’t telecast beyond Rwanda, to-date while other EAC country national TV channels are viewed by many countries.
