Rwanda : Family TV showing on Star media network
The recent opened entertainment local television dubbed Family TV has started broadcasting on Chinese star media network.
The public has been viewing Family television on internet for almost two months but now star media subscribers are able to view the TV channel on 121.
Family tV was established mainly for promoting and developing Rwandan entertainment industry and currently, the management is finalizing deals with local artists to start using their products.
“Rwandan subscribers on star media network will be able to view Family TV station which is mainly focusing on local made entertainment industry products” said Co-founder Family TV Ahmed Pacific.
Pacific added that the station is finalizing contracts with some of the local musicians and film makers o use their products officially.
Family tv is the first private local television station that will be showing at Star media network that broadcasts local made music and movies.
The new born television station will be competing with other entertainment TV stations on star media like Nigerian TV Africa and MTV Base.
Family television is already showing some change, where by every launch, shows, concerts, parties and movie festivals a broadcasted live.
The recent ones were FPR 25th anniversary where P-square performed and Inyarwanda Ltd hangout which were broadcasted live on TV station.
