Rubavu: Vision Jeunesse Nouvel to start radio station

In partnership with PNUD and the ministry of youth, vision Jeunesse Nouvel, a youth centre in Rubavu district is set to start a radio station.

The aim of a radio is to direct youth in the development path and to change their character.

According to Emmanuel Dusabimana, head of Vision Jeunesse Nouvel, this radio will focus on youth programs airing in Rubavu, Nyabihu, Ngororero and Rutsiro districts.

Dusabimana asserts that a radio will enable youth participate in development programs and acquire more knowledge from the talk shows.

This radio will be the second to the local radio in Rubavu district.

 

The residents’ radio has many programs but jeunesse nouvel radio will focus on programs that change youth’s attitude,” explains Dusabimana.

 

Though he didn’t reveal the exact date of opening the radio, Dusabimana said that the radio, staff and Rwf119 million to use are in place.
