Kigali Today FM to start broadcasting soon
Rwanda’s famous media house, Kigali-today Ltd will add FM radio stations in Rwanda to its name, when their online radio graduates to FM, in just months.
Charles Kanamugire, The managing Director of the company that runs more than forty news websites, a Kinyarwanda online publication and an online radio, talked to Itangazamakuru.com, about the new FM development.
“The radio equipment arrived late 2013 and by March 2014, the FM should be testing for broadcasting,” said the Director.
Kanamugire said technicians from abroad would soon come in to fix the studio equipment.
Kigalitoday Ltd started operating in 2011 and its Kigalitoday.com is the most read news website in Rwanda with an estimated 18, 000 clicks daily.
The new KT Fm coverage will reach the entire country using three different frequencies from Jali, Huye and Nyarupfubire in broadcasting news, developmental programs and entertainment shows.
Kigalitoday is famous for its quality developmental stories that focus on communities especially in rural areas.
The company also plans to start telecasting in the near future.
